Leavin' On a Jet Plane

I bought my plane ticket to Hong Kong. I will leave Phoenix early morning on August 8th, then leave San Francisco for a direct flight to Hong Kong, where I will arrive at 6 pm on August 9th. I am staying there until August 15th, when I head to Guiyang. I am so incredibly excited to head back to HK. I already know that the first thing I will probably do is get a mango drink at Hui Lau Shan. Mmmm. I will also visit a couple friends who are still around. I'm probably going to stay in a youth hostel, so hopefully I will meet people as well. Not that I really mind spending time by myself in HK, I know my way around and I can find plenty to do. Haven't bought my ticket to Guiyang yet, and will probably fly out of Shenzhen or Guangzhou because it is cheapest. At any rate, it's a good transition to the much more difficult to get around mainland China.

I got a wireless USB adapter, which I thought would solve my lack of internet connectivity. However, I'm using it right now and the connection sucks. It's real slow and finicky so we'll see if I go back to Best Buy, my least favorite store in the world. Ugh.

At least the weather has been what I would describe as quite nice. Not too hot yet, and real nice in the evening and night. Maybe sushi tonight? It's a good thing I'm moving to Asia, I never get sick of the food.
