The Second Ice Age

Okay so maybe I'm exaggerating, but it has suddenly gotten cold the past few days. This morning it was like 33 degrees, but with wind chill 26. I am not simply a weak Arizonan, most agree it is very cold. I have begun donning my many layers when I venture to the outdoors.

^By the way, that is in fact what Bryn Mawr looks like right now.

So now the question on everyone's mind: what is Atlantic City really like? Well, everything I dreamed and more- we met many very very Jersey people (see picture below, which sums up the trip in many ways), sang at a karaoke bar, banged on the slot machines but unable to work them at 2 am. I hope to offer a compare and contrast after the epic Vegas trip for New Year's.

I will leave you with this story, both because it involves Arizona and it's something I feel might occur in the nerdy Tri-College area.

Thank you for that link. Best thing I've read in a long time.

"I was like, 'Oh my God.' I'm so glad he watched all those police shows his whole life … He knew how to take care of himself … I'm very, very, very proud of him."

Alex Botsios said he learned one lesson from the incident: don't leave windows open.

Otherwise, he said he is happy that his laptop is unharmed.

"It's my baby," he said. "Don't mess with my computer."
