Crunch Time

Firstly, WE ARE HAVING THURSDAY'S VIRGINIA WOOLF CLASS AT IHOP!! How amazing is that? I've always heard rumors that people go out to meals, field trips, professor's houses for class and had finally accepted, in my senior bitterness, that this small "personal" college experience had been a ripoff because I got no meals out of it and I should give up hope. But alas! After a classmate joked we should have class at IHOP, we are in fact. We wanted to make a reservation under Woolf, Virginia but they don't take reservations, even for a group of 15.

The rest of this entry will consist of some very pathetic liveblogging:
6:15 pm- Used my supervisor power to break into cafe. Found everyone else was there already. Purchased snackies for the night.
6:30- head to the old carrel. Haven't seen the poor thing in a while...set up my study materials. send desperate thesis- related emails.
6:35- discovery of wireless in my carrel. YES. Begin editing thesis draft.
7-9: write, desperately check email for responses. Why do I leave everything to the last minute? why don't profs check their email every 5 minutes?
9- Go to "Done is Good" hall tea. We at Bryn Mawr have a tradition of making construction paper checklists for finals time and taping candy to each item. Bryn Mawr has taught me that this is the only way to get work done at the end of the semester.
10- grudgingly head back to library. No emails, looking hopeless. Will have to force myself to wake up early in hopes for responses.
10:30- put on Christmas music online radio. background joy, but then my ebook stops working. do I have to go get a real book?
11:00- realize that I have to leave the library in an hour and have accomplished little. balls.
11:30- frustrated with shoddy wireless and tired, head back to room. consume oatmeal.
