A Few Things

Firstly, the new Harry Potter trailer. Book 6 was my favorite, and I gotta say, the movie looks freakin' awesome.

Secondly, a short story. One of my favorite hobbies is overhearing first dates. There was a couple on one at Starbucks today. Unfortunately I could mostly only hear the girl, although the guy, at one point, had some sort of story about a pantsless 60 year old man from what I could tell.
Girl: "I like cities, you know. I like the beach. But you know, I don't really get why people like swimming in the ocean. I mean, I'm kind of short [she wasn't that short], so I go out there and the water's up to here. And then, I'm so afraid of the waves! They just come at you and I'm like "ah!" and I try to swim away."
I don't know if it's as excellent as the Nova date we overheard at a sushi place once, which included real quotes. "What is your darkest secret?" reply- "I love Disney movies!" and "Have you ever Googled yourself?"

Paul Acampora, one of the authors of my creative writing class, said that he carries his notebook everywhere and story ideas are just screaming at you all the time, from all of those ridiculous everyday things. Ha.

UPDATE: In other news, I have discovered that both Stella and Strangers with Candy are on Hulu. Thesis, or hilarious awkwardness. Tough decision.
