Now it is Thanksgiving time- I will head to New Jersey to stay with my Aunt Jeanine and Uncle Ken for the break, as I did freshman and sophomore year. It's a pretty chill time, and my aunt enjoys having a girl to go shopping with for once. I enjoy having a family, free food, and being away from the Mawr for a bit.
Although it does make me think of last year's Thanksgiving in Hong Kong, which was really fun. I miss my Hong Kong family. We found a place to introduce our non-American friends to the American Thanksgiving dinner.

I loved when we drew our hand turkeys, which we Americans have been trained to do since early childhood, and the others didn't get it:

There are a lot of random things that make me miss HK- the birthdays of my HKU friends popping up on the newsfeed, since a lot of our nightlife was planned around birthdays. Soy milk reminds me of the little juice boxes I would buy at school every day. The other day at Borders someone answered their phone "Wei?"
But to end this post, a photo. And yes, in case you were wondering, I was Google image searching "baby." But I for one think this could qualify as child abuse:

It creeps me out that you were google searching "baby". That is all.
hahahahahahahaha to paige's comment
and I love that costume
um wow 2 things:
1. why were you even searching "baby"!
and 2. that is really...really..scary, couldn't they just dress their child in a pea pod like "normal" people?
i love that you traced your hand to make turkeys and only the americans got it. because i did that at work too and the few foreigners I work with just didn't get it. AT ALL. I offered to teach a girl from the Philippines and she gave up saying it was just too hard she didn't understand. Ha!
