Avalanche Imminent?
Okay, I have to say, they are really psyching us out about this incoming snowstorm? blizzard? apocalypse? For once I don't want a snow day because I have my first children's writing class with the author who went to Bryn Mawr and is from Arizona (what are the odds, man?) and I'd actually like to meet her.

speaking of avalanches, did you hear the snow falling off the roof yesterday morning? I thought Rock was falling down with me inside of it. Damn these attic rooms
I thought it was raining really loudly yesterday morning- but then later thought it was hail. Was that what it was? all this different precipitation confuses me
don't you need mountains to have an avalanche??? yes. you do.
