Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes

Today All The Single Ladies, that ever so catchy Beyonce song, was playing in Haffner, then someone's phone rang with the ring tone of the same song. It was totally mind-blowing.

It sure is snowing. It's been coming down regularly all day. I still am amazed by the strangeness that is snow. It's quite hypnotizing, the way it swirls around and comes down on the ground, and fun to walk on (at least until it turns into ice). It makes me miss my huge window seat of freshman year, being curled up on top of the heater and watching the snow come down and down.

I still haven't worked on my thesis this semester, amazingly. My thesis advisor pretty much said "you need to actually do something before you have meetings with me" which I haven't been doing.

So in other news, the Cardinals lost, sigh. It seems like it was a good game though and I'm pretty sad I only saw the first 20 minutes because I had to work. Good commercials, too. I feel a little ashamed admitting I laughed at a Budweiser commercial but it's a fact. It would have been a fun time to be in Arizona, though. Except for the whole losing part. I think it was obvious from the beginning that the Steelers were the better team but you can't help but root for the underdog! They really almost pulled it off.

Well, I have I Capture the Castle to read, one of my favorite books actually, for my Writing for Children class. I submitted my first story and maybe once I've revised I'll put some things I've written on the internets. Even though it is totally nerve-wracking to have people actually read my stories. I need to get used to it though. It builds character...or something.
